Welcome to Hôtel Rasco - Vieux Montréal

Hôtel Rasco - Vieux Montréal offers a unique blend of modern comfort nestled within the historic charm of Old Montreal. Situated at 281 Rue Saint-Paul E, this property provides an ideal base for exploring the centuries-old district, renowned for its cobblestone streets, vibrant Old Port waterfront, and landmarks like the Notre-Dame Basilica.

Guests appreciate the hotel’s prime location—just steps away from Place Jacques-Cartier and a myriad of renowned restaurants and pedestrian walkways. Despite being in the heart of the city’s lively district, Hôtel Rasco manages to maintain a tranquil atmosphere, making it perfect for both sightseeing and unwinding.

The accommodation itself leans more toward an upscale suite or AirBnB experience rather than a traditional hotel. Modern apartments come equipped with essentials including a cozy bed, fully functional kitchen, smart TV, and even in-suite laundry. Security is a highlight here, with keypad codes for the front door, elevator, and room, ensuring a worry-free stay without the need for a reception desk.

Although it lacks some standard hotel amenities like a fitness center, pool, or free breakfast, Hôtel Rasco compensates with reliable Wi-Fi, smoke-free premises, and convenient parking options nearby. Guests have noted that while the mattress could be improved for enhanced comfort, the overall quality of the suites and attentive details such as espresso machines and full-size refrigerators create a welcoming home-away-from-home feel.

For travelers eager to immerse themselves in Montreal’s rich history and culture, Hôtel Rasco - Vieux Montréal stands out as a smart choice. It delivers a seamless balance of quiet retreat and vibrant city life, wrapped in a secure, modern setting within one of the city’s most picturesque neighborhoods.

First time in Montreal, and the apartment is right near the port in Old Montreal. It's a beautiful and lively area, but right by the apartment is very quiet. The room.has everything you need. Bed is comfy, smart TV worked perfectly, bathroom was great too. No reception desk. There are codes for the front door, elevator, and room. All emailed and texted an hour before check in. Place felt very safe and check in/out is a breeze. We loved our time.

Hi - There are so many good things to write about Location: literally 1 block from Old Montreal and all the wonderful restaurants and pedestrian walkways in the area. Parking: offsite but we just parked at the Science Centre. It seems pricey but when you factor in the safety offered here, you don't need to leave your car keys like other places where they park bumper to bumper, so $50 overnight (eg 12+ hours) Service: excellent and simple process to check in, access the building, elevator and room ( all keyless). Any questions via email were answered very quickly (like within an hour). Room: personally we like the very well maintained, openess, very well equipped kitchen (though we didn't cook) including a Nespresso, we used every morning. Pics you see are very current and I posted a few for comparison. Dog friendly Fair rates.

More of an AirBnB type stay than a hotel . Nice security with 3 different keypad locks, very easy to check in. Very nice suite. A modern feel in and older building. Our place is a suite with 2 bedrooms and kitchen. sizable living room area and dining table. washer dryer too! But most of all it is right smack in the middle of Old Montreal. steps from Place de Jacque Cartier and the best food and drink. Couldn't find a better location!

Excellent location in old city Montreal. Had a kitchen with a few dishes and pots to cook in. Coffee is an espresso machine . Has electric teapot. Full size fridge. Towels were sufficient. Soap was provided - bring your own lotion. The mattress was sub par as we could feel the coils. It needs an upgrade or a mattress topper. Hooks to hang a few clothes and towels would be useful, as theres no closet. Great big TV. Amazing view of the sunrise, it was spectacular. Room 405 was attic space remodeled very long and narrow but good value for the price. Elevator was good.
